If you were a fan of The Terminal List, you’re in luck, because the show starring and executive produced by Chris Pratt is returning to Prime Video for a second season, according to Deadline.

And if you thought that was good news, the show also has an unnamed prequel series in the works, documenting the origin of Ben Edwards.

Not to mention, the upcoming prequel series will star and be executive produced by Friday Night Lights’ own, Taylor Kitsch, from The Terminal List creator/executive producer David DiGilio.

It’s rumored that Jack Carr characters from his 2018 novel, which The Terminal List is based off of, will be featured in the prequel, including Pratt’s Navy SEAL character James Reece and Raife Hastings a former SEAL and friend of Reece.

Talks about a second season of The Terminal List have been going on for months, and during those conversations, the idea of a prequel series came to be, which Pratt is executive producing through his Indivisible Productions alongside Kitsch.

Other executive producers for the prequel include DiGilio, The Terminal List executive producers Carr and Antoine Fuqua. Producers include the likes of Max Adams, a writer and former Army Ranger, and Pratt’s longtime coach Jared Shaw, who is a former Navy SEAL himself.

The prequel is described as an espionage thriller surrounding Kitsch’s character, Ben Edwards, journey from being a SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, displaying the darker side of warfare and the human cost of it.

And of course, The Terminal List s based around the story of James Reece (Pratt), a Navy SEAL who is out for blood over the murder of his family.

Speaking of a second season, Pratt said:

“To the rabid fans of ‘The Terminal List’ out there, you have nothing to worry about.

We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.”

Carr added:

“There may be some cool stuff on the horizon being discussed.”

Aside from Pratt and Kitsch, the main cast includes Constance Wu, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
