The 56th Annual CMA Awards are right around the corner.

Miss Lainey Wilson leads the pack with six nominations in total, and coming in right behind her with five each is Ashley McBrydeCarly PearceChris Stapleton, and producer Shane McAnally. Cody Johnson notably came away with four nominations, and Luke Combs scored three.

Miranda Lambert continues her reign as the most nominated female artist of all time with 61 nominations in total now.

And today, they revealed the first round of performers, which includes Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Zac Brown Band.

Miranda will perform “Geraldene,” from her CMA Album of the Year-nominated Palomino. Reigning CMA Female Vocalist Carly will perform a special song from her most recent album 29: Written In Stone, and first-time CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Morgan will perform his latest single #1 single “You Proof.”

Morgan’s presence is notable, as he was banned from attending the show, but was nominated in some categories, last year. This will be the first time he’s attended the show in-person since his highly-publicized racial slur incident.

And some great collaborations are on the schedule too, as HARDY and Lainey Wilson are teaming up to perform their awesome single “wait in the truck.” Country fan Kelly Clarkson will also be taking the stage to sing with Kelsea Ballerini and Carly Pearce for a performance of their new tune “You’re Drunk, Go Home.” Zac Brown Band will perform their latest single “Out In The Middle” with Jimmie Allen Marcus King.

The opening of the show is set to include an all-star tribute to the late, great Loretta Lynn, which will surely be a highlight of the night.

Additional presenters and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The CMA Awards will air live on November 9th on ABC, and Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan will co-host in Nashville, Tennessee.
