Zac Brown Brings Young Fan On Stage To Sing “Colder Weather,” And She Absolutely Stole The Show

Zac Brown Band country music

This is what country music is all about.

At a show in Charlotte, North Carolina at the PNC Music Pavilion for their Out In The Middle tour, the Zac Brown Band had a very special young guest on stage to sing with them.

Frontman Zac Brown brought Brianna Shirley out to perform part of one of their biggest hits, “Colder Weather,” and my goodness… she can SING.

The strong vocals she has and her stage performance alone is impressive enough as it is, much less the fact that she got up in front out thousands of fans and didn’t hold back one bit.

According to her grandmother, Brianna was born legally blind and autistic, and she’s been a longtime fan of the Zac Brown Band.

She actually joined them to sing “Colder Weather” at a show in Charlotte back in 2015, as well as several other shows throughout the years, so these two go way back. It’s cool to see that they’ve maintained contact all this time, and clearly, Brianna has won a special place in Zac’s heart, which is really sweet too.

“Colder Weather” was co-written by lead singer Zac Brown, keyboardist/guitarist Coy Bowles, as well as Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lowrey, and it was the second single from the bands 2010 You Get What You Give album.

It became a massive hit for them when it peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and has since been certified 2× Platinum by the RIAA.

Zac shared video from Saturday night on his Instagram account, personally thanking Brianna for joining him on stage, which I’m sure means the world to her knowing that it came from her favorite artist:

“This one is for my sweet friend Brianna… thank you for joining me on stage last night for ‘Colder Weather.’

Your tremendous courage and voice are an inspiration to us all.”

It’s probably the sweetest thing you’ll see all day, but you might wanna grab a tissue (or two) before you hit play:

Here’s her performance from 2015 in Charlotte:

And hey, I never get tired of watching the music video starring Liam Hemsworth, either:
