We finally have the NASCAR schedule for 2023.
The schedule is very similar to 2022, aside from the street course race in Chicago, Illinois, and the rejuvenated North Wilkesboro track in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
The 2023 Cup playoffs will be the exact same as this year’s, except Richmond’s second race will happen in July instead of August, and the Indianapolis road course has switched from July to August.
There are some other intriguing factors to point out between the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck series races as well.
The final race of the 2-mile layout at Auto Club Speedway in Southern California, as they’re converting the facility into a short track.
The Chicago street course will host its first race on July 2nd, and the non-points All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro will happen on May 21st. Wilkesboro will also be hosting a Truck Series race on May 20th for the first time since 1996. Texas Motor Speedway, the normal track for the All-Star race, will host only one Cup race weekend for the first time since 2004.
The Milwaukee Mile will also be returning to the Truck schedule, hosting its first national series race since 2009.
With the Knoxville Raceway no longer on the schedule, Bristol will be the only dirt track on the Truck Schedule.
