Dolly Parton Announces Greatest Hits Album, ‘Diamonds & Rhinestones,’ Coming In November

How are they going to fit every song Dolly Parton ever wrote into one greatest hits album?

I kid, I kid…

But she did just announced a new greatest hits album is on the way, very appropriately titled Diamonds & Rhinestones.

Slated to drop on November 18th, Dolly says the new record will be a collection of some of her favorite songs she’s ever written or recorded throughout her decades-long career in country music.

And with 52 studio albums under her belt, narrowing down the biggest 23 hits seems almost like a disservice to her fantastic catalog of music. I mean, can’t we just include them all?

While that’s not super realistic, they picked a great collection of 23 songs, and Dolly shared the announcement in a post on Instagram, saying the record is now available for pre-order:

“I’ve got some big news! My Greatest Hits album, ‘Diamonds & Rhinestones,’ is coming November 18th. This record is a collection of my favorite songs, and yours!

You can pre-order it now through the link in my story.”

Dolly first released a “greatest hits” album back in 1982, and reissued it a few different times in 1983 and 1989.
