Luke Combs Fulfills Terminally Ill Fan’s Dream Of Seeing Him In Concert

Look at Luke Combs out here proving he’s the man of the people, once again.

Back in July, he brought a teenager with terminal cancer on stage to sing his hit song “Better Together,” he once surprised fellow country singer Ashley McBryde with a custom bar cart as an end of tour gift, and also paid off funeral expenses for the three men who died at the Faster Horses Festival last year.

And of course, the list of examples goes on, and on, and on.

With that being said, Combs is back at it again, as he recently fulfilled 22-year-old Dalton’s dream to meet the star country singer in person.

Dalton tragically only has 12 months to live, and thanks to the James Bess Foundation, they were able to make the dream become a reality.

The wish was shared in a video through the James Bess Foundation TikTok account, as Dalton responded while laying in his hospital bed:

“To go see Luke Combs in concert.”

He also added that he wanted to take a trip to Dolly Parton’s theme park, Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

The caption to the video read:

“Meet the newest client, Dalton. Dalton is 22 years old, lives in Nashville, is battling congenital heart disease, and has less than 12 months to live.

His wish is a meet and greet with Luke Combs as well as attending his concert with his best friend and his best friend’s dad in Atlanta next month. Here is Dalton’s request video: (Dalton is autistic and was in the hospital when this video was taken).”

Sure enough, Luke commented:

“Dalton, hey buddy, I saw your video… we’re gonna get you out to the Atlanta show.

You and your friends, and I’ll show you around, give you a backstage your myself, get you guys some tickets, anything you need. Make sure your hotels and travel expenses are taken care of.

Also, gonna figure out how to make this Dollywood trip happen for you and your family. So, look forward to seeing you there buddy and we’ll see you soon.

At Combs’ show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30th, Dalton’s dream was fulfilled.

He took some time out from his concert to give Dalton a tour of the venue/stage, and also gave them some merchandise as well. He also hooked Dalton up with a signed guitar as well.

In a clip of Dalton hanging out backstage, he admitted that he’d never been to a real concert, and was looking forward to hearing songs like “Lovin’ On You,” “Better Together,” and “When It Rains It Pours.”
