Luke Combs Drops Another Teaser From His Upcoming Album With Unreleased Fishin’ Tune “On The Other Line”

We’ve got another teaser from LC3.

Last month, Luke Combs officially announced that his third career studio album, Growing Upwould be coming on June 24th.

And Luke also released the track list for the upcoming album after revealing that six of the tracks on the album will be brand new songs that we’ve never heard before, including a duet with the great Miranda Lambert.

Well Luke’s not quite done giving us tastes of the new stuff just yet.

He just posted a teaser of another previously-unreleased song ahead of the new album’s release. And this one’s a good ole’ country fishing tune called “On the Other Line,” one that’s giving people heavy Brad Paisley “I’m Gonna Miss Her” vibes with its lyrics about not being able to talk about chores right now because he’s “got a 6-lb largemouth on the other line.”

While it’s the first time that Luke’s posted the song himself, it seems that he may have played it live at least once – appropriately enough, at a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bass Pro Shop.

And even though Growing Up doesn’t officially come out until June 24, Luke’s been giving us quite a few tastes of the new album before it’s released.

After announcing the track list, he also teased a studio version of “Used To Wish I Was,” a song that fans had been begging him to release after posting an acoustic version way back in April 2020.

He also announced that “The Kind of Love We Make,” a song that he’s teased with both an acoustic version and a clip of the studio version, would be dropping a week before the album, on Friday, June 17.

Just enough to keep our hooks wet before we finally reel in the full album in a few weeks.
