Johnny Depp Gets Into Full Captain Jack Sparrow Character While Talking To Fans On His Way Out Of Court Last Week

Johnny Depp

There’s always something new with this wild Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard trial.

Of course, in case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard, Johnny is suing his ex-wife for $50 million in a defamation case that’s already brought some pretty insane moments from inside the courtroom.

I guess that’s what happens when you televise a trial with two Hollywood exes who both have plenty of other issues and hate each other’s guts…

I mean, we’ve already heard about the old text messages that resurfaced where Depp told one of his buddies that he’d “F*ck her (Heard’s) burnt corpse afterwards,”  and the story where Depp claimed that Heard took a shit on his side of the bed, in addition to some of the wild testimonies from people who (kind of) knew them as a couple, like hilarious front desk attendant Alejandro Romero who worked at Johnny’s old apartment building.

And late last week, as he was leaving the courthouse, Johnny took a few moments to speak to some of the fans who were waiting outside to try and get a glimpse of the actor.

And not only did he roll the window down of the SUV he was being chauffeured in to thank them for their support, he went into full-on Captain Jack Sparrow mode speaking to a woman after she shouted:

“You’ll always be the Captain Jack Sparrow!”

Of course, he had a leading roll as Captain Jack in the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, which he was booted from after Amber made the initial allegations that Depp had abused her in an essay for The Washington Post that this defamation trial is centered around.

He responded to the fan in that famous, half-drunk British accent, saying:

“He’s still around somewhere. I see him now and again. He shows up now and again.”

What else do you really expect from a Hollywood trial that’s become a real shit show of a circus…

But if the jury ultimately takes Johnny’s side and he wins the case, which will be difficult to do even with so much evidence in his favor because defamation cases are notoriously difficult to win, I wouldn’t be mad to see him reprise his roll as Captain Jack again.

Sorry, not sorry for this one…
