Koe Wetzel And Post Malone Are Teaming Up For 3-Stop ‘Twelve Carat Texas’ Tour

Post Malone Koe Wetzel

LET’S GO.

Koe Wetzel and Post Malone are FINALLY teaming up to hit the road for a run of three shows on their just-announced Twelve Carat Texas tour:

Koe and Post Malone

Of course, Koe is the biggest artist in the Texas music scene right now, and Post Malone moved to the Lone Star state when he was just nine years old and considers it home, so it seems like a natural fit.

Fans (myself included) have been begging for the two of them to team up for quite a while now, especially after Koe covered Post’s “Feeling Whitney” a few years back, and it looks like our wish is coming true after several long years in some capacity:

Post Malone is a huge country fan, and even once joined Dwight Yoakam for a rendition of “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere”, in addition to a knockout performance of his own of Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have The Crown” and Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her” during Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” benefit last year.

Koe is also slated to open for Post Malone at Posty Fest this year, and has something in the works with Diplo on his (unnamed) upcoming album, who has also worked with Post in the past, as well.

Post Malone previously announced his upcoming Twelve Carat Toothache album would be dropping at some point later this year.

The duo will make a stop in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas this fall, and I have a feeling tickets will not last long.

Buckle up, y’all… these once-in-a-lifetime shows are about to be WILD:

TWELVE CARAT TEXAS TOUR DATES:

APRIL FOOLS!

If you haven’t figured out by now, this is clearly an April Fools joke.

While Koe and Posty aren’t really teaming up for a full-on tour, Koe is actually opening up for him this year at Posty Fest, so it doesn’t seem completely out of the realm of possibility for them to do something together in the future.

I mean, we already know that Post Malone can sing the shit out of a country song, and Koe plans on releasing a full-blown country album soon, so maybe one day they will do us all a favor and get in the studio for real…

Could Koe’s venture into real deal country be the perfect time for Post to dip his toe in, too?

100%, yes, if you ask me:

And while you’re hear, Koe’s cover of “Feeling Whitney” never gets old, so check it you if you haven’t seen it before:

And Posty singing Brad and Sturgill? I could listen to it all. Damn. Day.
