Tom Brady knows a thing or two about partying a little too hard at a Super Bowl parade.
And he’s shelling out some solid advice to Matthew Stafford about how to handle it all, as the Los Angeles Rams celebrated their Super Bowl 56 victory with a parade today.
After Matthew already had to wake up early to do his wife’s podcast the morning after their big win, and explained how much he was NOT looking forward to going to Disneyland (a customary tradition the day after the Super Bowl) on one hour of sleep, he should definitely listen to the GOAT here:
“Mix in a water Matt…trust me.”
Yep, it looks like 2021 MVP Tom was having flashbacks to his own Super Bowl parade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year, where he famously had a little too much avocado tequila and got plastered… and then proceeded to throw the Lombardi trophy from one boat to another as they celebrated Florida-style:
“Noting to see her…just litTle avoCado tequila.”
Tom rarely drinks alcohol or eats anything with a single carb in it (or at least didn’t when he played football), so I’m sure that had a lot to do with how drunk he got at the parade.
Either way, he recently commemorated the one year anniversary of the moment on Twitter, and it’s still just as funny now as it was back then:
“Imagine if the entire internet commemorated the anniversary of the time you had one too many margaritas…”
Thank God I don’t have that problem… I’m still dying to know what avocado tequila tastes like, though.
And from the looks of things so far, it doesn’t look like Matt’s had a sip of water all day, but hey… at least he doesn’t have to go to back to Disneyland with four kids tomorrow:
