Is this the closest thing you’re going to get to the TV show Yellowstonein a music festival?
The Under the Big Sky Festival in Whitefish, Montana just released the lineup for their 2022 festival – and the party will kick off with a special Friday night performance from none other than the Turnpike Troubadours.
The performance comes along with a slew of other festival appearances announced by Turnpike over the past couple of days, and gives fans yet another chance to finally catch the band on their comeback tour after tickets have been absolutely red-hot and nearly impossible to get your hands on.
Under the Big Sky will kick off with the Friday night performance from Turnpike and Paul Cauthen on July 15. But then after that, the festival will feature an absolutely STACKED two-day lineup on July 16 & 17.
In addition to Turnpike, the Under the Big Sky Festival will feature names like Zach Bryan, Cody Jinks, Lainey Wilson, Midland and Jaime Wyatt, all artists who have made appearances on the soundtrack for the hit series Yellowstone.
And the lineup also includes a ton of other great talent like Morgan Wade, American Aquarium, Jamey Johnson, Trampled by Turtles, Sierra Ferrell and many more performing across two stages.
The festival is held at the Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, Montana, and will also feature a full roughstock rodeo with events like bareback riding led by rodeo icon Duane Kesler.
I’ve gotta say, we’ve been seeing a lot of festival announcements lately, but as far as the location and lineups from top-to-bottom go, this looks like one of the best I’ve seen yet.
I mean, the scenery of Yellowstone, and the badass music to go along with it?
