Eli Manning Throwing Double Middle Fingers Is Exactly Why Peyton & Eli Are Winning Monday Night Football

If you’re still watching the regular Monday Night Football broadcast like it’s 1984, what the hell are you doing?

If it were up to me, Peyton and Eli would broadcast every single game in the NFL season, the playoffs and the Super Bowl. They would get zero sleep, we’d have to have multiple games 7 days a week, but we could make it happen.

Between the guests they bring in each week, the Manning brothers’ hilarious banter about Peyton’s massive head, a couple of Super Bowl winning quarterbacks breaking down everything happening at the line of scrimmage, and even the love of the game that you can just feel from these two… it’s just a phenomenal broadcast.

And to top it all off, you have Eli throwing double middle fingers on live TV… you gotta love it.

Tonight we had the Philadelphia Eagles facing off with the Dallas Cowboys, and while it really wasn’t much of a game (the Cowboys crushed ’em), the Peyton and Eli broadcast delivered.

The brothers were joined by Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (who’s having one hell of a season with his new team), LeBron James (who cares?), Alabama head football coach Nick Saban, and finally, former Eagles defensive end Chris Long.

And while Chris was on, Eli got to talking about his days on the New York Giants, and going to head to head with a rabid Eagles fanbase. So rabid that even the kids would talk shit:

“You go to Philly, I mean, you’re gettin’ the double bird right away from a nine-year-old kid.

I would give the bird, can we do that? I’m sure you can blur that out, right?

So getting the double bird from a nine year old and they’re saying things about my mom and Peyton.”

I mean, that sounds about right.

But, it didn’t take long for Eli to get word that waving two middle fingers around on live TV is generally frowned upon.

After a commercial break, he issued a rather comical apology:

“Sorry, earlier I gave the double bird, I guess that’s frowned upon so I apologize if I offended anybody.

That’s just what a 9-year-old did to me and I thought I could do it back, so Chris I blame you for that.”

GOLD… absolute GOLD.
