These Karens never cease to amaze me.
Stolen valor, meaning people who pretend to be veterans or active servicemen for their personal gain, is a criminal offense.
So when these claims of stolen valor are made, they are taken very seriously, as they should be… I mean, if you falsely put on that uniform, you’re the scum of the Earth.
But… you better be DAMN certain that the person is truly a fake armed forces member if you’re going to berate them in public.
For one Connecticut woman, she looked like an absolute lunatic for falsely accusing this sailor of stolen valor, and she even went as far as to slap him in the face.
The clip went viral on TikTok, as the woman is seen cussing out the serviceman at Central Pizza in Berlin, Connecticut.
You can hear her say:
“This is disgusting… Disgusting! You f*cking piece of sh*t.”
“That’s not a uniform, you piece of f*cking sh*t.”
The woman filming the video alerts the woman that if she doesn’t leave, they’re calling the cops.
Needless to say, she got it all wrong. The man in the video is Sean Notle Jr., and he is 100% a Navy sailor. He is currently training at the Naval Submarine School in Groton.
In fact, he tried to show her his military ID, and she was having non of it. And the worst part is, she was literally doing this on 9/11.
According to the New York Post, Berlin police believe they have probable identity of the woman, and Acting Chief of Police Chris Ciuci had this to say in a statement:
“Up until yesterday and despite the widespread sharing of the video on social media, we received no information from the public as to the possible identity of the woman involved in the assault.
The investigation is ongoing and when probable cause is developed, we will apply for an arrest warrant.”
Notle Jr., from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, recalled the assault:
“As she leaves, she looks at me and says ‘nice smile’ very sarcastically. I reply ‘thank you, have a nice day ma’am’ and continue my day.
Not even 30 seconds later she comes marching back in, and yells at the pizzeria staff, ‘He is a fake, by the way, my husband is in the Army.”
Absolutely disgusting behavior Karen.
And since this video is already making its way around the internet, it’s just a matter of time before she gets fired from her job and catches an assault charge for slapping this sailor.
You have to commend him on the restraint though, it would be VERY hard to maintain my composure after something like that.
