Twitter Says Fight Was “Rigged” After Jake Paul Beats Tyron Woodley In Split Decision

I… I can’t believe it.

We’ve seen the Paul brothers bring absolute chaos into the boxing world, flipping it completely upside down as they’ve called out the world’s greatest fighters, and in Logan’s case, actually fighting one of them.

Exhibition or not, he still got in the ring with Floyd Mayweather.

However, when Jake Paul called out former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, I honestly thought that this would be a death sentence for the famous YouTuber.

Finally, a true fighter (not completely out of shape like ben Askren) was about to square off against Jake, and shut his mouth forever… or, you know… put him in a coffin.

That didn’t happen.

Actually, the opposite happened. Jake took Woodley the distance, and won by split decision once all was said and done.

People couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it, and if you watched the fight, let’s just say it looked… fishy.

Woodley barely threw a punch in the first three rounds, and then in the middle rounds, Woodley turned it up, tagged Jake HARD with a shot that sent him falling into the ropes and then… just let off the gas for the rest of the fight?

Folks on Twitter are calling the fight rigged, and honestly, it’s not hard to see why:

People were going absolutely bonkers on Twitter:

Listen, I really don’t want to believe it either. However, Woodley claimed many times that he was “out for blood,” and he really had that look in his eye that he was ready to shut Jake’s mouth for good.

Plus, I can’t convince myself that a man with the reputation he’s built for himself in the fighting world would go on live television in front of everybody, just to collect a paycheck.

But here we are…

Either way, we’re on to the next.
