It’s officially official…

Jake Paul will be stepping into the ring with the 2016-2019 UFC welterweight champ, Tyron Woodley.

Paul has been picking fights with just about any pro boxer, MMA, or UFC fighters he can find on social media, and now, he’s finally gonna have the chance to take on a pro. Woodley has since ended his contract with the UFC, but is only a couple years removed from being a UFC champ. No disrespect to Ben Askren, but they’re not in the same league.

It’s been reported by TMZ that both sides have signed contracts with Showtime, and are slated to fight on August 28th.

Of course, as Jake Paul does, he’s been running his mouth big time:

“It’s official. I have a list of people I plan on knocking out and as I enter my fourth pro fight, I am excited to cross the first one off the list by challenging myself against Tyron Woodley, a 5 time UFC Champion known for his knockout power.

Tyron ran his mouth a little too much in the locker room when I knocked out his best friend Ben and earned himself a top spot on the Problem Child death list. Tyron’s a seasoned striker who has fought the best MMA fighters in the world but will be dropped by a Disney teen star in 2 rounds.

Maybe this time Dana White will actually be a man of his word and put his money on his former champion instead of trying to undermine my success like a jealous ex. Influencer vs MMA….let’s get it on. It’s Showtime.”

Paul’s undefeated as a pro boxer, but doesn’t exactly have an impressive resume, only defeating another YouTuber, former NBA player Nate Robinson, and a retired (and out of shape) UFC fighter, Ben Askren.

However, Woodley has lost his last four matches, so you could say he’s in a bit of a slump.

Will the slump be enough to open a door for Paul?

I guess we’ll find out on August 28th.

Get excited.

Jake’s brother Logan is set to fight Floyd Mayweather this coming Sunday.

She probably should be…
