Is Season 4 here yet?

Yellowstone Season 4 is right around the corner (coming this Fall), and a number of spinoffs are on the way as well. Already beginning production in Texas is the titled 1883, which will tell the origin story of the Dutton Ranch, and how the original Dutton family (played by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill) made the trip across the great plains to settle in the great state of Montana.

It will also feature Sam Elliott so you know it’s going to be good.

Another spinoff will reportedly feature Ryan Bingham and Jefferson White as Walker and Jimmy, and the story takes place at the iconic Four Sixes Ranch down in Texas.

A lot of cool things are happening in the Taylor Sheridan/Yellowstone world, but until that day comes… is there anything else we can watch?

Well, what about Taylor Sheridan movies?

A skilled writer, director, and even an actor in Sons of Anarchy, Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan has directed a number of movies that are well worth the watch.

And while they’re not exactly anything like Yellowstone (some are closer then others), they come from the mind of the same creative genius that brought us our new favorite show.

Here’s a few you should check out:

Sicario – 2015

An idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico.

Hell Or High Water – 2016

A divorced father and his ex-con older brother resort to a desperate scheme in order to save their family’s ranch in West Texas.

Wind River – 2017

A veteran hunter helps an FBI agent investigate the murder of a young woman on a Wyoming Native American reservation.

Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado – 2018

The drug war on the U.S.-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver re-teams with the mercurial Alejandro.

Those Who Wish Me Dead – 2021

A teenage murder witness finds himself pursued by twin assassins in the Montana wilderness with a survival expert tasked with protecting him, and a forest fire threatening to consume them all.
