Josh Turner And His Wife Recreate The Music Video For “Your Man” 15 Years Later

Well, this might be the cutest thing you see all day.

Josh Turner and his wife, Jennifer, recreated the music video for his iconic song, “Your Man,” 15 years after the original one came out.

He recently released a special deluxe edition of his Your Man record, and he told People this just seemed like the right idea to go along with the release:

“I don’t think anybody has done this, where the same people go back and recreate the video from 15 years prior, in the same location.

When I saw the first edit, I just sat there, and I was speechless. I was thinking, this is kind of crazy looking. Once you think you’ve done it all, you haven’t.”

It’s cool to see the progression of their relationship after 15 years and four kids, seeing as obviously a lot has changed since he first started his career in country music.

It’s definitely apparent in the new music video, where they flash back to the old one you see how in love and on fire they were in the beginning. Not to say they aren’t still in love, they obviously are, but I imagine things naturally change, evolve and even slow down some after all that time and raising four boys:

“Obviously being 15 years later, we are with children and life has changed for us. A lot has happened.

And so, it was cool, you know, not just on a professional level, but a personal level to look back and appreciate that kind of stuff.”

The new video is very similar to the original and includes a lot of clips from it, but they added a part where they FaceTime their children at home after a date night away.

It hasn’t always been easy, but they’ve managed to keep it together and keep their relationship strong:

“We’ve had a lot of challenges and hurdles that we had to overcome, but we’ve just continued to do what God’s called us to do.

Our God never promises that it will be easy. So, we just keep pressing forward and taking it one day at a time.”

“Your Man” was the Josh’s first #1 single in 2006 and was written by Jace Everett, Chris DuBois and the great Chris Stapleton.
