As if have your truck stolen isn’t bad enough. But to have it stolen with your dog inside? I’d be ready to go to war if somebody stole my dog.
Well that’s what happened to Shane Smith of Shane Smith & The Saints, who had posted on social media earlier today that he was offering a $10,000 reward for the return of his beloved pup, Gretchen.
According to the Texas country singer, his black Ford F-150 was stolen Monday afternoon in the Pearl District in San Antonio with Gretchen inside.
The truck was then ditched in a hospital parking lot before being stolen AGAIN later that night.
Well luckily the story has a happy ending for both Shane and Gretchen, after the pup was found zip tied to a tree on a nature trail without her collar earlier today.
Shane posted a video on Instagram of the excited Gretchen after they were reunited, though I can only imagine that he was even more excited than she was to have her home.

His truck is still gone – but the most important thing is that Gretchen is home safe.
