Loretta Lynn Unveils Massive New Mural At Her Tennessee Ranch, And It Puts Those Damn Angel Wings To Shame

If there’s anyone who could fill up a massive wall with a painting of all their career accomplishments, it’s Loretta Lynn.

I’m telling you, the woman just does not slow down. She turned 89 last week, released a new album that debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard country albums chart… and she just unveiled another new project she’s been working on: a mural depicting her 60+ year career in country music.

According to WSMV Nashville, it was painted by local Nashville artist Stephen Sloan and Austin, Texas artist Brittany Johnson.

Loretta had this to say about the new painting, which you can find on the ranch she bought with her husband years ago in rural Tennessee:

“I’m so proud of the ranch. My husband Doo poured his life into it. I always loved to paint myself… people may not know, but I couldn’t imagine painting a huge wall like that. They did such a great job for us and our guests. I’m sure proud of it.”

That’s right. She also owns a massive ranch outside of Nashville, in a town called Hurricane Mills, where you can see her house, camp and maybe even catch a concert as it has an outdoor amphitheater. Seriously, what can’t this woman do?

And, I need to speak to all the lovely ladies who read these articles for a second…

I understand the urge to get the perfect photo of your trip to Nashville for Instagram, I really do, but those angel wings are just not it. You can do better, I promise, and I think this is a more than ideal alternative.

What could be better than the perfect candid shot featuring the wonder that is your country Queen Loretta Lynn in the background? I really can’t think of anything.

Y’all need to get your asses to Hurricane Mills… because that’s a mural worth waiting in line for.

I mean, just look at this thing:
