Zac Brown Says Fans Don’t Realize How Much Work Goes Into Las Vegas Sphere Shows: “Still A Little Burnt Out”

Zac Brown says people don’t realize just how much work and preparation goes into putting on shows at the Las Vegas Sphere, and he admitted that his residency there at the end of 2025 and beginning of 2026 has him feeling burnt out.

The frontman for the Zac Brown Band has stayed busy over the past year. The group released their Love & Fear album in December of last year, and that rolled right into a run of dates at the $2.3 billion building known as the Sphere. He was very open about how much of his own money he spent to make the show happen, and he was honored to be the second country artist and first country group to play the state-of-the-art venue.

He definitely made his mark:

But now, removed from it all, he’s speaking about how draining it was to put it all together.

Speaking to Billboard, Brown mentioned that he and his band are about to embark on their 2026 Love & Fear Tour. And it’s not as easy as taking the show they were doing at the Sphere and putting it on out on the road.

Brown and his team have done their best to scale down the “four acres of video” they created specifically for their Sphere Residency, but that’s been a challenge in its own right. And this all comes after the “mountain of work” they did just so they’d be prepared to play the Las Vegas venue.

The “Chicken Fried” singer admitted he’s a bit fried himself:

“Honestly, I’m still a little bit burnt out from the two years of making that entire album, making all the visuals for (the Sphere), making all the stages and costumes — everything that it took to pull that off. It’s so far beyond anything I’ve done, work-wise.

But it’s like, ‘This is the moment. We’re going for it. We’re gonna shoot for the moon,’ but it requires so much work. I don’t think the general public person can tell how much work went into making one night of someone coming to see a show.”

You can really tell all of the past year – from producing the Zac Brown Band album, to releasing it, to creating the Sphere Show – has taken a toll on Zac Brown. That being said, he’s proud of everything he and the group have accomplished, and at the end of the day, Brown says it’s all been worth it:

“(It’s) worth it. You learn your limits. You learn what you’re good at. You learn what help you need. It’s a worthy cause; I was trying to give the fans something they could never dream they would want, and I feel like we did that.”

Now, they’ll try to replicate that out on the road. You can check the list below to see if the Zac Brown Band is coming to a city near you:
