Miranda Lambert Gave “Little Red Wagon” A Whole New Meaning In San Francisco On The Heels Of Viral Wardrobe Mishap

Maybe the most spunky performance of “Little Red Wagon,” ever.

Over the weekend, Miranda Lambert rolled through San Francisco with Morgan Wallen as part of his 2025 I’m The Problem tour, where she of course played through her hits and fan-favorite songs.

But “Little Red Wagon” had a little extra energy to it following her viral moment and very unfortunate wardrobe malfunction while performing “Bluebird” during her opening set in Seattle. Well, I suppose it wasn’t technically a wardrobe malfunction, but probably a little more than Miranda was expecting to show…

She came out in her classic t-shirt, denim skirt, boots and hat look, but the mini skirt might’ve been a little too “mini,” because you could clearly see her backside peeking out if you were standing right up front in the pit. A video of the incident has gone mega viral on TikTok, and you could now say that Miranda’s cheeks stole the show.

When you perform long enough, something like this is bound to happen, and if you’ve worn a denim mini skirt before, you know they can ride up and be really uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how hard it is to perform in one. Personally, I find skorts way more comfortable anyways, so maybe they can sew in a pair of shorts underneath them going forward just so there’s one less thing to worry about.

You can watch the viral clip that has over a million views, here.

Fans of course had a LOT to say about it, and the viral video garnered tons of comments… some were of course happy to see the footage, while some called it a “PR stunt,” though I can assure you there is n0 way this is a stunt because she would’ve done this MUCH earlier in her career if that was the kind of attention she wanted.

But regardless, the story was everywhere, and in typical Miranda nature, Miranda defended herself following all of the attention on this story, using a line from “Little Red Wagon” that played behind a video of her in the outfit walking out onstage from behind:

“I’ve been warning y’all about my backyard swagger since 2014.”

The video also included another line from the song, which was included on her 2014 Platinum album, and is basically about her being a bad*** and someone you don’t want to mess with, so it really was the perfect song choice and response to all of the attention her behind has been getting this week:

I was just waiting to see if she’d change up her look for this weekend of shows following this big story (which really isn’t that big of a deal in my humble opinion, but people are clearly interested in it for obvious reasons), because she wears similar denim mini skirts pretty much every time she plays a concert now and this has never happened.

But from looking at videos from her set this past weekend, it appears as though she came out in a very similar outfit, the classic Miranda look, though I think it’s a different skirt but obviously, very similar to last weeks’ because it’s still a denim mini skirt.

Fans in attendance shared some videos from her set, and she sounded, and looked, great. Here’s some of “Mama’s Broken Heart”:

But you can tell she gave it a little bit more here, because she grabs her backside during the “backyard swagger” line, and has a pretty obvious grin on her face while singing the subsequent lines:

“You know it ain’t my fault
When I’m walkin’ jaws droppin’ like,
Ooh, Ahh”

The song was written by Audra Mae and Joe Ginsberg, and originally recorded by Mae on her 2012 album, Audra Mae and the Almighty Sound. Miranda covered it as part of her fifth studio album Platinum, and was released as the third single in January 2015.

While it failed to be a big hit commercially and on country radio, I feel like it encapsulates Miranda’s spitfire personality and persona so well and I’ve always loved it… and it’s even more fun now that it’s taken on a completely new meaning:

@stephaniereneemusic Miranda knows…..👏🏻 I just love her! 💅🏼🥰 #mirandalambert #littleredwagon #levisstadium #morganwallen #livemusic #floorseats ♬ original sound – ✨Blondey✨

Miranda has had a sense of humor about the whole thing and it’s ended up being a pretty funny moment. Again, as far as “wardrobe malfunctions” go, if you want to call it that, this was as mild as they come, and Miranda’s onstage looks always slay so why should she stop just because one rode up a little while she was doing what she does best onstage? I think she probably couldn’t care less, and that’s why I love her.

This is SUCH an underrated Miranda heater…
