Rose entering the chat?
Over the past couple of weeks, everybody on the internet has chimed in on the breakup between country superstar Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia).
It seems that pretty much everybody is on Team Bri, after she took to her BFFs podcast last week to paint an unflattering picture of her time with Zach and accuse the singer of emotional abuse.
On the podcast, Brianna said that Zach offered her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement after their breakup, while also pulling back the curtain on the singer’s behavior during their relationship.
Brianna claimed that Zach smashed her phone while in a rage, and also got mad at her for singing a Morgan Wallen song in their house. She also said that the singer was jealous and upset over her dress that she wore to the Golden Globe Awards, despite the fact that he complimented her and even posted a photo of it on his Instagram story.
Overall it wasn’t a flattering picture of the singer, and it was only brought even further into the spotlight when Brianna’s podcast co-hosts, Josh Richards and Barstool founder and CEO Dave Portnoy, released their Zach Bryan diss track “Smallest Man.”

Now, Zach’s previous exes have been silent throughout the whole saga, though Bri alluded to his previous relationships signing NDAs that would prevent them from speaking out about their experiences publicly. But that hasn’t stopped the internet from looking for clues from the women that they were following the saga – though it probably wouldn’t be a surprise whose side they would be on if they could speak about it.
At the same time Brianna’s podcast dropped, Zach’s ex-girlfriend Deb Peifer posted a cryptic TikTok of herself pouring a glass of Josh wine (remember, Josh is Brianna’s co-host) with Taylor Swift’s “Clean” playing in the background.

Fans immediately speculated that she was indirectly commenting on the allegations, especially given the recent beef between Zach and Swifties, who were upset when Zach drunkenly tweeted that Kanye West was Taylor Swift.
But now it seems that Zach’s ex-wife, Rose Madden, may have tipped her hand in the drama too.
If you’re not familiar with Rose, her and Zach met while they were both in the military, and got married in 2020. She was even featured in the original cover artwork for his 2020 album Elisabeth.
But their marriage didn’t last long, and in 2021 the two were divorced. Rose has, like Zach’s other exes, been fairly silent on their split (due to an NDA?), but her followers noticed an interesting repost on her TikTok feed yesterday.
Rose reposted a video of Portnoy in the studio recording his diss track. The behind the scenes video showed the Barstool founder (and amateur rapper) behind the mic calling Zach a “bitch,” a “short little bitch” and an “insecure bitch,” and was captioned “me in my closet in 5th grade because my mom wouldn’t buy me an American Girl doll.”

(Side note: I just learned what an “American Girl” doll is this past weekend when my best friend brought his daughter to Nashville and had to get her one of those dolls – holy shit those things are expensive).
But anyway, Rose not only reposted the video but commented on it:
“pls, this is comedy gold”
It seems that even if she’s not able to comment on the situation, she knows what’s going on – and there’s no doubt she has some pretty strong feelings on it all.
