Could the Colorado Buffaloes really be trying to pull the wool over the eyes of sports fans like this?
Since Deion Sanders made the move out to Colorado, the Buffaloes program has been under a microscope. And with “Prime Time” as their head coach, there has an inordinate amount of hype surrounding the previously mediocre – and arguably still mediocre – football team.
If you need an example of that hype, look no further than the fact that Colorado was ranked as the 16th best team in the new EA Sports College Football video game. Giving the Buffaloes a 16th overall position in the power rankings is rather strong for a team that finished with a record of (checks notes) 4-8 last year, ranking dead last in the now defunct PAC 12 conference.
But they’re definitely getting back on track ahead of this upcoming season, which will see the Buffaloes take on teams in their new conference home – the BIG 12. To let people know that the team is really honing in their skills, they posted this video of Shedeur Sanders tossing a deep touchdown pass.

I was almost 100% sure the pass that was thrown wasn’t completed (and might have flown out of bounds by a good 10 yards), and the video team did a little razzle-dazzle move and just edited in a pass that was actually caught. The rough edit really doesn’t help, nor does the coach yelling “DAMMIT” in the background after the ball was released by Shedeur.
