Brittany Aldean Calls For The Impeachment Of The President With “Impeach 46” Shirt

For the most part, country artists stay out of the forefront of political conversations.

Although, you have some who are more vocal than others about where their allegiances lie. I mean, it’s no secret which side of the aisle you can find artists like Willie Nelson, Travis Tritt, Jason Isbell, and Aaron Lewis on.

But overall, it’s still something that I would say most artists keep to themselves.

And we can debate the “shut up and sing” arguments against the obligation to “use your platform” arguments all we want, but at the end of the day, you have a right to be as political as you want on stage, or as unpolitical as you want on stage.

However after the past election, it seems as though more and more country artists have taken to social media to make their beliefs known.

Especially, the Aldeans… and they do NOT like President Joe Biden.

Back in November, Brittany Aldean questioned the legitimacy of the election, said Trump was “still her president,” and even shared a meme of Biden in a wheelchair.

Now, she’s going as far to call for his impeachment.

Donning a new shirt on her Instagram story this evening, the graphic reads “Impeach 46.”

She later followed up the Instagram story with another post featuring the shirt, and a link to purchase on Amazon.

According to Fox News, Brittany recently expressed her anger over the 13 America soldiers tragically killed in the evacuation of Afghanistan, while also encouraging others to stand up for what they believe in.

“I personally don’t give a damn if people don’t agree with me. I think it’s important now more than ever to stand for what you believe, even if it ‘goes against the grain.’

Do your research, and form your own opinion – speak out if you wish. But most importantly, don’t bully people who feel differently than you.”
