Hey, at least no one ever knew about it…
Last night, Megan Moroney performed at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Culver City, California, and she became only the second country artist in history to grace the iconic runway stage, taking part in an all-female musical lineup that also featured Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, and KATSEYE. Kelsea Ballerini has also performed for it, as has Taylor Swift though that was after she started transitioning into pop.
Megan performed three songs in”6 Months Later” “Wish I Didn’t” and “Sorry… I Meant Tonight,” and she had on the iconic angel wings, donning an entirely-pink outfit that is perfect for her continuing Cloud 9 era.
She looked absolutely stunning… I mean, she fit right in with all of the other models:
There were some fans that weren’t too happy with her performance, more on that HERE, but during the red carpet portion before the show started, Megan stopped to talk to E! News, and she was asked about what the most “outrageous” risk she’s taken for fashion was, and she had a pretty wild story…
It happened at the ACM Awards a few years ago, she says, and she was wearing sticky underwear to go with a dress she needed a certain type of undergarment for, but unfortunately, they fell off on the carpet…
“I’ll tell you what my brain immediately went to. The ACM Awards a few years ago, I had these like sticky underwear on, and they fell off on the carpet.”
Of course, being that she was already there, dressed, and ready to go, there wasn’t much she could do, so she just gave them to her publicist and kept it moving:
“Then I just took them off and gave them to my publicist. So yeah, I didn’t have underwear on on the carpet. That’s outrageous.”
I mean, you gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes…
Luckily, no one ever knew and there were no major wardrobe malfunctions to come of it, which I imagine has to be one of the worst nightmares for any performer.
Megan has actually typically had great luck at the ACM Awards, and last year, she led all artists with 9 nominations, including her first-time nod for Entertainer of the Year, though she went home empty-handed. In total, she has been nominated for 10 ACM Awards in total, and won her only one so far for New Female Artist of the Year in 2024.
At the CMA Awards next month, she is up for Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Beautiful Things,” and hopefully she’ll have the outfit locked down so there are no further fashion faux pas on the red carpet:
