Garth is coming home.
After teasing a new tour back in January through his personal website – the only place where the country star shares news from now – Garth Brooks would officially announce his return to touring on his brand new Blame It All On My Roots arena tour. And it’s been a long time coming for the “The Thunder Rolls” singer.
The 64-year-old country star last brought his music to the masses with his Stadium Tour, which played its final show in the fall of 2022. Garth’s Las Vegas residency – Garth Brooks/Plus ONE – followed after that, but even that wrapped in July of 2024. All that to say, it certainly seems like the perfect time for the aging superstar to return to touring.
At the time, Brooks would only announce two shows: the first two nights – August 21st and 22nd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Along the way, he’d make a plethora of different announcements regarding the tour. These included promising a live album titled Killer Live (which sent off a firestorm online thanks to Tom Segura’s world-famous joke) and cutting-edge technology such as a 360-degree video system that he’s coined “The Halo,” which will feature both inward and outward-facing screens.
Since then, he’s added four nights in Denver, which included a pop-up show under his long-forgotten alias, Yukon Jack, two nights in Washington, D.C. at the Capital One Arena on September 18th and 19th, two nights in Orlando, Florida, at the Kia Center on September 25th and 26th and expanded his stay at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, to four days from October 8th through the 11th.
So far, it’s been a resounding success. Though some fans have criticized the admittedly odd strategy of rolling out cities every other week or so, it hasn’t stopped Garth from selling out nearly every single show as of now.
Fresh off shutting down the sale of his fourth show in Salt Lake City yesterday due to an overwhelming presence of bots in the queue, Garth has plotted his sixth stop of the tour — this time in the city where he was born. Announced this morning, Brooks is taking the Blame It All On My Roots Tour to Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the BOK Center from October 23rd through the 25th.
Per usual, it’s unclear whether Garth will add a fourth show to the Tulsa run. With that being said, however, it seems incredibly likely that a fourth one — most likely on Thursday — will pop up eventually due to the overwhelming demand for the previous stops on the tour, coupled with the fact that he will be in his hometown.
Tickets for both nights will go on sale next Friday, October 2nd, at 10 a.m. CT, once again forgoing any presale opportunities. Additionally, Brooks is once again fixing every ticket, regardless of its location, at the same price of $154, meaning whether it’s the front row or the nose bleeds, every single seat will cost the same throughout the tour.
