Wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card.
As we sit in 2026, there’s simply no denying that Ella Langley is the hottest star in country music. Launching off the success of her Riley Green collaboration, “you look like you love me” throughout 2024 and 2025, the Alabama native has become nothing short of a phenomenon thanks to the megahit that is “Choosin’ Texas” and, in turn, has captured the hearts of nearly everyone over the past year.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with “Choosin’ Texas’” success, it just spent its 17th week at #1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. As it stands today, “Choosin’ Texas” is the longest-running #1 hit by a female artist THIS CENTURY, the only country song by a woman to triple up and go #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Hot Country and Country Airplay charts simultaneously and the fourth-longest-running chart-topper in the Hot 100’s 68-year history.
If that wasn’t enough, thanks to the success of her sophomore album, Dandelion, which debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and sold 169,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week, Langley became just the second woman in history to hold the #1 album and song in the U.S. simultaneously with a country song/album.
Of course, her success is not limited to just the charts. Over the past year, she’s created her own perfume, Be Her, with Noyz, teamed up with BUM Energy for her very own energy drink, launched a partnership with American Eagle, alongside names like Sydney Sweeney and Travis Kelce and partnered with Boot Barn on her current Dandelion Tour. Oh yeah, and she just partnered with Shiner Bock for her own line of beer, “Dandelion Honey Kolsch,” which will release this Thursday.
Beyond the success of “Choosin’ Texas” this year, Langley has been killing it on the road as well. Throughout the spring and summer, she’s been splitting time between Morgan Wallen’s Still The Problem Tour, which just wrapped up a few weeks ago, and her own headlining tour, Dandelion, which has been selling out arenas and amphitheaters across North America.
Though the Dandelion Tour comes to a close this week across Texas, the Alabama native had some rare time off this weekend. And it looks like she made the most of it. According to a video posted by the resort itself, Langley took a trip with her friends to Bolongo Bay, which is located on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
While she was at Bolongo Bay, she made a stop at St. Thomas’ iconic Iggies Beach Bar. Here, she’d team up with a local band and perform a cover of Bob Marley’s reggae classic, “Three Little Birds, looking like she was having the time of her life up on stage.
Fans in the comments were absolutely loving it, joking about how they would pass away if they randomly saw Langley at a beach bar while on vacation.
