Are this guy’s 15 minutes of fame up yet?

Controversial livestreamer Clavicular has once again found himself in hot water after being charged in connection with shooting a dead alligator in Florida back in March.

If you’re not familiar with Clavicular, first of all I’m jealous and wish I wasn’t either. But here’s the quick rundown: The 20-year old whose real name is Braden Eric Peters is known for his “looksmaxxing” content on how to become more attractive. (I feel like need a lobotomy after just writing that sentence).

Anyway, the controversial livestreamer has found himself in hot water several times over the past year or so, including a December 2025 incident in which he was banned from streaming platform Kick after hitting a man with a Tesla Cybertruck, as well as his arrest earlier this year in Arizona for drug possession.

More recently, a video went viral of him claiming that he was going to have a woman arrested after slapping him, and he was arrested back in March on battery charges related to the video. And last month, a disturbing scene unfolded when he suffered an overdose on livestream and had to be hospitalized.

So yeah, doesn’t seem like a great guy.

Well his latest charges follow the Florida Fish and Wildlife officials announcing back in March that they were investigating a video showing Clavicular and his group firing a handgun at an alligator while riding in an airboat.

In the disgusting video, which I’m not going to post here but you can easily find if you want to see it, Clavicular and his fellow morons are riding through the Florida swamp when one pulls out a gun and fires multiple shots at the gator. Someone in the group says that they think the alligator is dead, and Clavicular then stands up and pulls out his own gun, with the group unloading on the gator while he says they “gotta make sure” that it’s dead.

Well the video caught the attention of officials in the Sunshine State, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission released a statement confirming that they had opened an investigation into the incident:

“The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator. FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”

And today, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Rundle charged Clavicular with reckless discharge of a firearm, a misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of a year in jail and a $1000 fine.

The charges no doubt would have been more serious if the alligator were still alive when the group shot it. In Florida, hunting alligators requires an alligator trapping license and a statewide alligator harvest permit. The state issues a limited number of permits, with a harvest quota set each year based on an evaluation of on-site habitat or population inventories in order to ensure there are no long-term adverse impacts on population levels.

Alligator harvest season in Florida runs from August 15 through November 8 each year, and hunters are allowed to harvest two alligators during their assigned period within the season. Rifles and handguns are not allowed to be used by recreational harvesters.

Under Florida law, it’s illegal to “intentionally kill, injure, possess, or capture” an alligator unless authorized by the FWC, and doing so constitutes a class three felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
