Is new music on the horizon from Morgan Wallen?

It’s hard to imagine an artist having a better year than Morgan Wallen had in 2025. Riding the highs of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, the Tennessee native broke all sorts of records. In addition to dethroning Garth Brooks and becoming the highest-selling country artist of all time (3rd all-genre), Wallen also scored the most-listened-to album on Apple Music globally, the #1 most-listened-to album in the U.S. on Spotify and became the second male country artist in history to be named Billboard’s Top Artist of the Year, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny and more.

2026 is looking to be yet another huge year for the “Whiskey Glasses” singer as he’s currently on his massive Still The Problem Tour, featuring stops at massive stadiums across the country during the 23-show run from April to August. Couple that with the debut of his very own radio station on SiriusXM, breaking the internet by teaming up with Ella Langley on “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” which is currently sitting at #2 on Apple Music behind “Choosin’ Texas” and being heavily rumored to finally be featured on Drake’s upcoming album, Iceman, there’s a lot to look forward to once again if you’re a fan of the “Whiskey Glasses” singer.

Despite the fact he dropped a hefty 37 songs on I’m The Problem just last May, fans everywhere have been begging for even more music, and they’re convinced something big is coming soon.

To catch you up to speed, back on March 26th before the start of his Still The Problem Tour, Wallen posted Instagram for the first time since New Years Day. Here, he’s share some photos of what he’s been up to as he got closer to the tour. Additionally, he shared in the caption that it’s time for him to “come out of hibernation”:

“I guess it’s about time I come out of hibernation for a bit.”

And of course, fans noticed in the third slide that Morgan appears to be in a studio, which certainly hints at the fact that he’s been working on music.

Considering the tour is named Still the Problem, many fans speculated he would drop at least a few new songs that could be an extension of his album. Now that we’re a few weeks into the Still The Problem Tour, Wallen would take to Instagram again last night to upload even more photos from the studio and once again reignited speculation surrounding new music with the caption:

“Still on the hunt”

To add even more fuel to the fire, his official fan club, Club Wallen, would also take to the comment section, simply dropping the eyes emoji.

Unsurprisingly, fans would quickly lose their minds at the sight of the “20 Cigarettes” singer in the studio once again, flooding the comment section and asking him for information surrounding the next project.

“Sooooo you’re sayin there’s a chance.”

“Still hunting for that new album”

“Still on the hunt for the extended version of Interlude”

“If you drop an album I’ll simply pass away”

“back in the studio! new music soon👀”

Of course, these could have simply been from his studio session for the collaboration with Langley. However, it does seem like Wallen has something planned up his sleeve to extend I’m The Problem in some point. Even ignoring the fact that the Still The Problem Tour name blatantly alludes to the possibility of an extension, the Tennessee native has also confirmed the fact the controversial track, “Interlude,” was a part of a longer song and teased that it could be released in its entirety.

Obviously, a lot of this is purely speculation, but I would not be surprised in the slightest if we get some new music at some point during the Still The Problem Tour. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
