Post Malone, Peyton Manning, & Shane Gillis Team Up For Bud Light’s 2026 Super Bowl Ad

Bud Light is pulling out all of the stops for the “Big Game.”

I know mentioning that specific light beer brand can still be a little controversial for those that are still staying strong with the whole Bud Light Boycott thing. In defense of the beer, they’ve really tried to shake things up – advertising wise – ever since they nearly nuked their entire brand with the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco of 2023. And then doubled down when a former executive called Bud Light’s humor “fratty” and “out of touch.” Needless to say, she got canned…

The whole ordeal is believed to have cost Anheuser-Busch InBev over $1.4 billion in sales, so it makes sense that they’d be trying to distance themselves from it.

Ever since then, Bud Light has done their best to go back to the basics, clean house, and restore the brand’s image to what it once was. Anything that they’ve done post-Bud-Light-boycott reverts back to the traditional beer commercials that you would probably think about from the Bud Knight and Dilly Dilly days. And a big part of that has been signing on country and pop star Post Malone, comedian Shane Gillis, and former NFL star Peyton Manning to be brand ambassadors

The ads that Bud Light have rolled out as of late with Shane Gillis have actually been funny. They kicked the college football season off with a clever “BUD LIGHT HERE” ad, and then I thoroughly enjoyed their “Safari Tailgaters” commercial. That one was legitimately laugh-out-loud funny.

It really does seem as though Bud Light is back on track, and that’s especially true considering they just teased a Super Bowl commercial starring Post Malone, Shane Gillis and Peyton Manning. For those that love the art of the Super Bowl commercial, you’ll likely remember that the trio got together for a Bud Light advertisement last year. So basically, the light beer brand is running it back after last year’s ad spot – which revolved around a backyard BBQ – was deemed successful.

This time around, Post Malone, Shane Gillis and Peyton Manning are packed into a car and headed toward a wedding. Posty apparently went rogue with the wedding registry, not getting the lovely couple (yet to be revealed) a present and instead opting to gift them with a Bud Light keg.

That’s one of the many storylines that’s laid out in the over-a-minute-long teaser, along with Malone being surprised that he might have to give a speech, and the pop-star-turned-country-music-artist pairing up with the uberly popular Shane Gillis to create a keg-centric jingle. Then you have the portion where Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)” comes on and Peyton Manning “goes nuts,” which is just one of the many hilarious parts of the Bud Light ad that’s rollin’ its way to the Super Bowl.

Check it out:

Oh boy… the keg-pun-song “tapping the keg, a little tippy tappy” is going to be stuck in my head for MONTHS (“Peyton Manning, pa pa, pa pa, pa pa” is catchy as well).  I’ve got a feeling that people are going to love that.

I know I’m already a big fan of the teaser, and I’m excited to see how the Bud Light wedding will go on Super Bowl Sunday.
