A 2026 tour you don’t want to miss.
This morning, bluegrass phenom Billy Strings announced his 2026 tour, which will hit cities like Savannah Georgia, Tampa, Florida and Greensboro, North Carolina.
Of course, Strings has made a name for himself as the premiere artist in the bluegrass genre with tons of crossover appeal, as he’s worked with huge artists like Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley, Willie Nelson, Post Malone and Zach Top over the past five years, and he broke out in a big way commercially in 2024 with the release of Highway Prayers.
Not only did the record top seven different Billboard charts, including Top Album Sales, Vinyl Albums, Bluegrass Albums and Most Added at Triple A Radio (“Gild the Lily”), it also became the first bluegrass album in 22 years to reach #1 on the all-genre Top Album Sales chart since the O Brother Where Art Though? soundtrack topped the chart for two weeks back in 2002.
His world class guitar skills is nothing short of generational, but when you couple it with his underrated songwriting and incredible live performances, you have a once-in-a-lifetime artist flying out of a historically underappreciated genre such as bluegrass. It’s cool to see how he’s brought so much mainstream attention to the genre, and I’ve heard that his live shows are second to none, and he’ still on my bucket list.
Considering how many stops he already has planned for next year, I’m determined to make it happen, and you should too:
Tickets for the newly-added dates go on sale this Friday, December 5th, and you can check out his full list of 2025 and 2026 tour dates below.
