Taking over Music City – literally.
It’s been a seemingly meteoric rise for the Red Clay Strays since releasing their debut album, Moment of Truth, in 2022. The album contained their smash hit, “Wondering Why,” which has since gone viral on TikTok, and the very next year the band from Mobile, Alabama found themselves opening for Eric Church on his Outsiders Revival Tour.
The group has exploded up the ranks in the alt. country scene, and for good reason. Between frontman Brandon Coleman’s killer vocals, the flawless blend of country and southern rock influences and the sheer musical talent present from each of the five members, the Alabama band has proven themselves as one of the best in the business over the past three years.
(They’re also some of the nicest guys you’ll meet. I had the chance to sit down with them back when they made their Grand Ole Opry debut back in 2023 – great dudes who just love making music together, and it shows).
Fast forward to 2025, and over the summer the band made their headlining debut at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, performing three sold-out shows in Morrison, Colorado, and just announced a headlining show at Madison Square Garden, a bucket list venue for any artist.
But when it comes to country music, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville is a venue that every country artist hopes to be able to headline one day – and for the Red Clay Strays, they’ll be doing just that next year.
The band announced today that they’re taking over Bridgestone Arena for their first headlining show at the home of the Nashville Predators on October 22, 2026, joined by special guests Sierra Ferrell and Brent Cobb.

Talk to any artist and they’ll tell you how special it is to headline Bridgestone. The arena is right on Broadway, where a lot of country artists got their start – either playing or going to the bars themselves… And when a country artist plays in Nashville, everybody from their team is usually there, including the label and management and PR and all the behind-the-scenes folks who don’t make it out to shows very often. It’s a source of pride for every artist, and it always ends up being a special show.
The presale for tickets to the show starts HERE this Thursday, November 20 from 10am ET/9am CT until 11:59pm ET, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, November 21 at 9am CT.
If you want to make sure you can get tickets during the presale, you can go to this link on Thursday and use code TRCSWHISKEYRIFF to get them before they go on sale to the general public.
We already know that the band also has new music on the way in 2026, after Joe Rogan accidentally let it slip on his podcast while speaking to the the guys on a recent episode. They said at the time that they’re hoping it will be released next summer, so if that happens, folks at Bridgestone will likely have one of the first opportunities to hear the new music live.
We’ve already seen that the sky’s the limit for the Red Clay Strays. It’s been fun to see them take off and become household names like they have, mainly because they deserve it in every way possible.
And next year, they’ll get to show out in front of the home crowd. I can’t wait to be there for it.
