Coming to a TV near you.

Last year, it was announced that iconic outdoors brand Field & Stream had been acquired by a group led by Eric Church and Morgan Wallen, which bought not only the retail side of the brand from Dick’s Sporting Goods but also the media platform, bringing the two sides under the same ownership for the first time.

Speaking on the new venture at the time, Church recalled the memories of Field & Stream from his childhood:

“I can remember my grandfather kept a few of his favorite Field & Stream magazines on the dash of his truck. That truck took us on hundreds of outdoor adventures and I all but memorized every story and every picture on every page. They were my Bible.

It is the honor of my life to make sure that legacy carries on. It is both this responsibility to an American Icon and also to a young boy in his papaw’s truck that will be the compass that guides our steps.”

The resurrection of the brand also included the Field & Stream 1871 Club, a membership community that includes the print magazine, membership gear and other benefits. And the brand has also partnered with companies like Tractor Supply to offer a wide variety of merch, from apparel to hunting equipment, further cementing its status as the preeminent outdoors brand in America.

And now they’re coming to the small screen.

Field & Stream announced yesterday a partnership with Outdoor America to launch Field & Stream TV, rebranding Outdoor America’s platforms under the Field & Stream name.

The rebranded channel will feature exclusive new content, original series, and special programming, of course centered on the great outdoors.

Speaking on the new venture, Field & Stream president Doug McNamee expressed his excitement for the opportunity to bring even more outdoors content to viewers:

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Outdoor America team to launch Field & Stream TV with a powerful and immediate distribution footprint. This partnership allows us to tell more stories that celebrate life outdoors—through new, exclusive programming and an unmatched ability to reach audiences and sponsors across every channel. It’s a defining step in Field & Stream’s continued evolution.”

And the CEO of Outdoor America, Nick Rhodes, is similarly excited to bring the iconic Field & Stream branding to their network:

“The Field & Stream name represents the gold standard of authenticity in the outdoors. Together, we’re building a world-class outdoor lifestyle network with premium programming, dynamic partnerships, and a global vision.”

The channel will be available on several smart TV streaming platforms, including Samsung TV Plus, Vizio WatchFree+, LG Channels, and TCLtv+, as well as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast. Outdoor America is also currently available as a free ad-supported television channel on multiple streaming platforms.

Field & Stream plans to host a launch event for the network at the 2026 SHOT (Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade)
Show, which takes place January 20-26 in Las Vegas, to Field & Stream TV’s flagship original programming and key production
partners.

All I’ve got to say that if we don’t get a fishing show starring Eric Church and Morgan Wallen out on the lake together, it’s a big missed opportunity.
