Something’s brewing.
At this point, it’s safe to say that Luke Combs is going all-in heading into 2026. Between releasing “Back in the Saddle” in July teasing a “crowd-sourced” album in August and finally delivering the 3-song teaser to the project in the from of The Prequel last week, the “Beautiful Crazy” singer clearly has a lot on the docket heading into the new year.
Of course, the prospect of a new record from the country powerhouse has been exciting enough for fans, who have received both long-awaited songs such as “Days Like These” along with the release of brand new tracks such as the aforementioned “Back in the Saddle.” With all of that being said, however, it looks like Combs is setting his sights on something even bigger than the highly-anticipated sixth studio album.
On Sunday, just two days after the release of The Prequel, Combs took to Instagram to tease something “bigger” coming on this Thursday, October 9th at 9 a.m. ET. In the video, it shows a compilation of the North Carolina native performing his previous stadium shows intercut with fan reactions.
The text placed on top of the compilation reads as follows:
“It started a decade ago, and it’s only grown larger. Night after night you’ve shown up. But what comes next… This is different… This is… bigger.”
Judging by the scale of all the clips in the compilation coupled with the fact that text references “night after night” and something being “bigger,” it’s safe to say that we have a massive stadium tour from Combs coming up in 2026.
This is made even more apparent given the fact that Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, also took to Instagram this morning to post a cryptic video of the stadium lighting up with his recent single, “My Kinda Saturday Night,” playing in the background along with the October 9th date in the caption.
Iowa Stat is in the mix, as is the University of Tennessee:
What makes everything surrounding this potential worldwide stadium tour so interesting, however, is the additional artists teasing something in the works with Combs.
Just a day after Combs’ initial Instagram post teasing something was on the horizon, Dierks Bentley took to social media to post a cover of his diamond single, “When It Rains It Pours,” also putting the “10/9/25” in the caption. In response, Combs commented “IYKYK” on the video while his additional headquarters Instagram account commented with an eyes emoji.
Not to be outdone, Thomas Rhett also took to social media to post a Combs cover, this time performing “Better Together,” once again with the same “10/09/25” in the caption. Just like Bentley, the Combs headquarters account also commented the eyes emoji on the “Die A Happy Man” singer’s video.
Just when you thought the potential collaboration teasers were over, TikTok phenom and rising star, Ty Myers, would also throw his hat into the ring and post a cover of Combs’ 2017 deep cut, “I Got Away With You” this morning, of course, with the “10/9/25” caption. Following suit, Combs HQ once again commented the all-too-familiar eyes emoji for a third time.
Last but certainly not least, Irish pop rock band, The Script, added even more fuel to the fire regarding an international stadium tour. Becoming the fourth (and at this time final) artist to post a cover, frontman Danny O’Donoghue delivered a solo rendition of “Beautiful Crazy” outside of various bars in London.
Being the least cryptic of all the covers, The Script all but confirmed that Combs is traveling overseas at some point by adding the following to the caption:
“Hey Luke Combs, I can’t wait to hear this one live.”
And, of course, this was met by the same eye emoji by Combs HQ.
While there have been some online rumors surrounding a potential Luke Combs tribute/cover album from various artists, prompted mainly by the use of covers from Bentley and Co., it’s pretty certain at this point that Combs is plotting an incredibly extensive, worldwide stadium tour.
Though the teaser video from Combs all but confirmed it on face value, the fact that official accounts of NFL teams and stadiums such as the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field are posting videos containing his music is further evidence. Couple that with The Script all but saying they’re going to hear “Beautiful Crazy” live in London soon, and it’s safe to say we know exactly what’s coming from the former CMA Entertainer of the Year.
For now, however, we’ll have to wait ’til Thursday at 9 a.m. ET for official confirmation of the tour.
