After another highly successful year in 2025 that featured Alan Jackson and Johnny Blue Skies (Sturgill Simpson for the ill-informed) as headliners, along with the likes of Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours, Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers in previous years, Two Step Inn is back once again in 2026 with another killer lineup.

Following a similar structure to last year, the Texas festival booked 90s legends, Brooks & Dunn, and one of the most influential artists in the genre this decade, Chris Stapleton, as headliners for 2026.

The lineup doesn’t just peak at the headliners, however. Two Step Inn has proven once again that it’s one of the best festivals in the business and employed a diverse set of acts throughout the two-day event, ranging from 90s staples and Texas legends to hot up-and-comers and even the Goo Goo Dolls.

For 90s artists, Tracy Lawerence, Shenandoah, Clay Walker and Randy Travis (featuring James Dupré as a guest vocalist) are all slated to perform.

As for the alt. country scene, Two Step is bringing out heavy hitters, The Red Clay Strays, Wyatt Flores, Muscadine Bloodline, Brent Cobb, Evan Honer, Cameron Whitcomb, Tedeschi Trucks Band and more.

Finally, legendary Texas acts such as Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers Band, TikTok-famous up-and-comers, Elizabeth Nichols, Bayker Blankenship, Gabriella Rose, The Creekers and Avery Anna, as well as other buzzy names such as Wade Forster and Laci Kaye Booth round out Two Step’s stacked 2026 lineup.

Like previous years, Two Step Inn 2026 will take place at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas, on April 18-19, 2026. However, there are some major changes being made in terms of how the festival will be run.

Hearing feedback from last year, the festival will feature more bathrooms throughout the festival grounds, more entry lanes at both gates while entering the park, fewer tickets available due to overcrowding and banning chairs from being brought into the park in an effort to create more space.

As someone who went last year, I can wholeheartedly agree with all the changes made going into 2026. Despite the lineup being nothing short of incredible, Two Step was plagued by ungodly long wait times to get in each day and, most notably, way too many people in the relatively small San Gabriel Park. Though I had the privilege of having access to VIP amenities, including private bathrooms, a common complaint from many in GA was also the lack of bathrooms. Overall, it’s clear that Two Step heard the complaints and is actively fixing them heading into 2026.

Presale for 1 and 2-day general admission at a discounted price begins this Friday, September 26, at 12 p.m. CT, with the rest of the packages also going on sale at the same time. These include 1 and 2-day general admission plus, VIP, platinum, hotel and their brand-new “Y’all Access” experience as different packages.

With a killer lineup, an improved festival-going experience and reasonable prices, there’s no doubt in my mind that Two Step Inn will end up being one of the best country events of 2026. If you’re in Texas, are planning on making a trip to see a festival or simply love the acts present on the lineup, I’d highly recommend buying a pass. You won’t want to miss it.
