Why Were So Many Fans Getting Kicked Out Of Morgan Wallen’s Seattle Show?

Last Saturday, on July 26th, Morgan Wallen performed in Lumen Field Stadium during his second show in Seattle.

The show was great, even featuring Marshawn Lynch, who join Wallen on stage later in the night. The I’m The Problem Tour has been a major success for Wallen after the success of his album drop back in May. It’s been a wildly anticipated set of shows, so fans obviously get excited when they are finally in the venue with only minutes left until they get to see their favorite artist— maybe a little too excited.

This was the case for many concert goers at the Seattle show, who ruined their own night by getting too intoxicated. At least, that’s what the internet is speculating. I mean, no one expects people to watch a concert dead sober— especially not a Morgan Wallen show, but concert goers at his Seattle night two show took the cake for drunkest.

After the concert wrapped up on Saturday night, many videos were posted to social media picturing concert goers being removed from the show for unstable behavior. Fans began pointing out the sheer number of people getting the boot from security.

One of the most viral security interventions captured was posted to TikTok by the user @sadee.muniz. The video shows five security guards holding up a man decked out in a matching Budweiser suit by the limbs, escorting him out of the venue.

“More Wallen concert in Seattle has some excitement. I just want to know what he did”

The man featured in the video took to his own TikTok page @bigredbeard_53 to respond to his viral moment, and after a few different videos dancing around the question, he revealed why he got kicked out:

Ah, the price of too much liquor.

Another video from the Seattle show was posted by the user @alexisnichole124. Her video shows another man getting escorted out of the venue by six security guards! In the video, the man in a cowboy hat is stumbling around like he has a little too much in his system.

The Lumen Field bartenders must pour strong.

Comments under the video talk about the volume of kicked-out guests:

“There were so many people getting kicked out last night lol”

“I was standing outside the stadium and it was crazy”

“I will never understand paying this kind of $ to see someone & then you get so drunk you are forced to leave before it starts. Why?!”

I guess they were there for a good time, not a long time.

A video posted by the TikTok user @briseidafredrickson shows a woman in the pit getting escorted out of the show by security after she too was too intoxicated.

“Night two in Seattle a lady gets kicked out moments before Morgan Wallen comes on stage”

The comments read:

“’What did I miss?’… the whole concert girl”

“Another dude started fighting during Brooks and Dunn and got walked out in cuffs”

Yeah, I’m not sure I’d risk my pit tickets to any show for a few too many drinks. It’s not like you can expect people to be on their best behavior at a Morgan Wallen show, but hey— perhaps this is their best behavior.

I guess the tour name rang true with this crowd.
