Billy Ray Cyrus isn’t the only one in an unexpected new relationship.
Last night, many stars and influencers hit the red carpet at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas. While the awards show itself was lackluster, one red carpet moment left country music fans buzzing. A new couple hit the red carpet, Zac Brown and Kendra Scott.
I am sure all the ladies reading this article know who Kendra Scott is. Still, for those unaware, she is a highly successful business owner of Kendra Scott, an affordable and fine jewelry company. The jewelry defined my teenage years, and she now creates designs for all walks of life, from lab-grown diamond jewelry to Western-inspired jewelry; she does it all.
The two have kept their relationship on the low, but a source close to the couple told People Magazine that they have been seeing each other for “several months” after making their red carpet debut.
“They were set up by a mutual friend, and are totally in love. They are head over heels and have become inseparable.”
This is the first time Brown has stepped out with a woman since his divorce from Kelly Yazdi last year. Although the two announced their divorce in late 2023, in 2024, there were a lot of headlines surrounding the two after Yazdi made a series of Instagram posts claiming he was mentally abusive, airing out her side of how the events of the divorce unfolded.
Yarzi also shared with the public that he asked her for a divorce only NINE days after their wedding party. If you think that’s brutal, let’s not forget that he asked her for the divorce over a Zoom call. You can’t make that up.
“You haven’t heard from me in a while because I have been afraid to publish anything in fear that it could result in more legal claims being brought against me to suppress my freedom of speech. Zac and I are getting divorced and it has been a very painful experience for me… We got married last August, and then we held our private wedding party in Nashville last November with our family and friends, and nine days after our wedding party, Zac unexpectedly told me over Zoom that he wanted a divorce.”
After he told me that he wanted a divorce, I refused to agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement that would have broadly prohibited me from ever talking about my life or relationship with Zac for the rest of my life. And after I refused to sign that lifetime NDA, that is when Zac filed for divorce back in January, and then a couple weeks later, I was fired from my position as executive vice president of his company.
And at that point he used our wedding party video, with alterations, and without my consent for commercial gain and to demean my integrity. Zac and his team then sued me for a poem I published claiming that it violated a confidentiality clause in my employment agreement with the company.”
While Yarzi never wanted any of this information out there publicly, she felt like she had to speak out given how it all unfolded, and she thought it was essential to her healing and moving on journey.
“I never wanted this to go public as all of this has been incredibly painful for me, but I will continue to stand up for myself. No matter what silly PR tactics they use to hurt me, I will continue to use my platform to share the truth.

Kendra Scott also has a poor track record of successful relationships. She has been divorced three times, most recently from Thomas Evans, whom she married in early 2022. Scott has three children: two from her first marriage to John Scott and a third from her second marriage to Matt David.
The new couple was beaming as they walked the red carpet, so maybe this is their chance at finding a forever lover. We wish Zac Brown and Kendra Scott the best of luck and hope their relationship lasts.
