Luke Combs Shares Update Heading Into The Studio Featuring An “Easter Egg” About New Music

Luke Combs

Luke Combs is BACK with new music and a headlining tour… in 2026.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about new projects from Luke Combs. Last summer, the country singer dropped his beloved (by fathers) concept album titled Fathers & Sons. Combs himself admitted it wasn’t his most successful endeavor, but he’s still glad that he did it.

It was actually back in March that Luke finally shared that he was working on new music, and I’m not trying to get you too excited… but he’s saying it could be the best thing he’s ever put out:

“I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage. It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made.”

Don’t get my hopes up Luke Combs.

The good news is that the 35-year-old typically never lets down his fans. And many faithful followers of Combs were excited to see a “get ready with me” video posted to Luke’s socials yesterday. Poking fun at the social media trend of people videoing themselves getting ready, Combs said that he was getting ready… to go into the studio:

“In all seriousness, just wanted to get on here and thank you guys for allowing me to have this time off with my family. I’m really excited to get to spend time with my wife and the boys. I am at the studio… I’m actually already here in the parking lot.”

Nothing better than seeing Luke Combs about to head into the studio.

The country star went on to say that he’s regretful that he hasn’t been more active on social media, but that’s kind of been of a product of being a father:

“Just kind of wanted to update you guys on everything going on with me. I know that I’ve kind of been dark on social media for a while. Just not doing it as much as I should. I think that just comes with being busy with the kids… that’s just kind of what my life has been. Being a dad.”

He pointed out his truck full of rubber duckies as proof.

Then finally, Luke Combs made the announcement that we’ve all been waiting for:

“I’m getting back in the saddle here. Back in the studio. I’m very excited about that. We’ve got some awesome festivals coming up this year… just stuff that we’ve never done. Stuff that I’m excited about.

Got a big tour coming next year. I just kind of finalized a lot of the details on that here in the last week or so. New record coming up soon, new tour coming up. I’m excited and I’m back.”

COME ON WITH IT.

That’s great news if you call yourself a Luke Combs fan. And how could you not? The man is a certified country music superstar. I’d venture to guess that his die hard fans don’t mind that he’s taken some time recently to spend time with his family, knowing that he’ll make up for lost time in 2026.

He mentioned some kind of Easter egg for the next album in this video and if it’s not a Pam Tillis collaboration, it has to be something about a garage… the man has an insane amount of openers on the visor. And I know Luke lives a relatively simple life considering the amount of wealth he’s been able to accumulate, and is still in a 2 bedroom house with his wife and 2 boys, but he apparently he has more garages than bedrooms on his property.

And since he mentioned some awesome festivals coming up on the calendar this year, I thought I’d include those confirmed dates for you below… in case you can’t wait until 2026 to see the “Beautiful Crazy” singer.
