I’m intrigued.
It sounds like Creed is making some new music and is hoping to hit the studio with the “Motorcycle Drive By” singer. In a recent interview with Billboard, Tetris Kelly sat down with the members of Creed at Stagecoach to talk about their upcoming tour and why they agreed to perform at Stagecoach.
Frontman Scott Stapp had a great answer regarding performing at a country festival, noting that Creed’s music is a common thread among many of today’s rock-leaning country artists.
“(We) thought it’d be something fun to do. I mean, we respect all of the artists here and just want to be a part of the greater music community. We kind of feel like our music connects, and there’s a thread with a lot of these country artists here. Especially these younger ones. You know, when we meet them and you know guys like Hardy and Zach Bryan and other guys, they all tell us, ‘We grew up listening to your music.’
It’s cool to be a part of this scene and know we’ve influenced some of these artists. It’s cool.”
Kelly then asked the band what country artists they were into and were excited to see at the festival. Guitarist Mark Tremonti answered that he’s into Zach Bryan and Sturgill Simpson. Stapp said that he was very excited to see Luke Combs.
I knew the members of Creed would have good music taste, but after hearing them name who they are into… these men have taste. Right on. Building off that last question, Kelly asked if there were any country artists they would like to collaborate with. Tremonti answered:
“I’d just say the first guy we just mentioned, Zach. That would be great.”
Frontman Scott Stapp built off his answer, noting that Zach Bryan has communicated with the band.
“We’ve been back and forth, kind of communicating with Zach for a while now. And so it seems like an organic thing is happening there. So, stay tuned on that one.”
The outlet clipped this specific portion of the clip and shared it on TikTok, where country fans quickly commented on how excited they were to hear about this possibility.

“I will be getting plastered to this song.”
ZB was seen rocking out during Creed’s set at Stagecoach, so I bet collaborating with the iconic band would be a dream come true.
Add this collaboration to the long list of projects ZB is working on because I think this is something the world needs.
