Deion Sanders’ Former 30,000 Square-Foot Texas Home Is Up For Sale & All Anyone Can Focus On Are The Old TVs

Deion House
Zillow

Want to live where “Prime Time” Deion Sanders once lived? That dream can be yours if the price is right.

If you are looking for a giant home in the Prosper, Texas area (40 minutes north of Dallas), and you happen to have an extra $5.5 million laying around, this might be the home for you. The only problem is… it’s a bit of a fixer upper. At the very least, whoever buys this 9 bedroom, 11 bath home – spanning almost 30,000 square-feet – that used to belong to Dallas Cowboys legend (and now Colorado head coach) Deion Sanders is going to have to restore it to it’s former glory.

That is unless you’d like to live in a time capsule.

As you’ll be able to tell by the pictures that are included in the listing, this home is straight out of the early 2000s. At the time it was erected, I’m sure it was a state-of-the-art build. But just as father time eventually told Deion Sanders to give up his professional athlete career, father time also moved technology and interior design along to outdate some aspects of this Texas home.

That being said, the “entertainment wing” that the home boasts does have some incredibly cool features… even if they have theming that hasn’t been popular in over two decades. The listing says that the place has a home theater, indoor pool, two-lane bowling alley, indoor basketball court, sauna, steam shower, barbershop, recreation room with bar, and a fitness center.

You can see some of those features in the post from “Zillow Gone Wild” below:

Make sure to take a close look at those TVs. We’ll be circling back to those in a bit.

Though there are some areas of the home that look the turn of the century threw up all over it, there are some other elements of the estate that have stood the test of time a bit better. The home’s grand foyer and double staircase still looks to be in great shape, and the towering ceiling and marble floors aren’t all that bad either:

And Deion Sanders apparently spared no expense when it came to the master bedroom and the walk-in closet that’s attached. I know this sounds weird, but saying “walk-in closet” feels like somewhat of an understatement. It’s a damn two-story closet that takes up about 3,000 square-feet of the house, and it’s unreal.

“Prime Time” apparently loves himself a spacious, sprawling closet:

It’s even got it’s own tailoring space.

And I know I touched on some of the amenities that the Texas home has earlier, but here’s a couple of different looks at some of the other rooms that were built specifically for entertainment. It looks like the movie theater – fit with a stage in front of the screen – wouldn’t need much work. But as for the bowling alley and game room… that whole thing needs a paint job to bring it into this century ASAP:

If you are impressed with the inside of the home, the over-the-top nature of the Texas bungalow continues in the outer portions of the home. There’s a fully stocked pond, a private dock, and even an outdoor pool that’s equipped with an outdoor kitchen. There’s also a gigantic 14-bay garage with spaces specifically designed to fit larger vehicles like RVs and boats.

Even knowing that the place needs some work, $5.5 million seems like a steal to me. You’d have to be pretty loaded to have money leftover for a renovation after dumping almost $6 million, but if someone were able to work it into their budget, the first thing they’d need to do is update the televisions that are installed throughout the home.

That was what stood out to social media users that stumbled across the “Zillow Gone Wild” post:
