If there’s one thing you probably don’t want to do during your team’s celebratory visit to the White House… it’s hit on the president’s daughter.
The Philadelphia Eagles traveled to Washington D.C. today to celebrate their Super Bowl win and be recognized by President Trump. That’s a trip that most athletes look forward to, just so they are able to say they went to the White House and met the POTUS.
Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks evidently was looking forward to the trip for a different reason.
Ricks, who signed with Philadelphia in 2023 after going undrafted, didn’t see the field a lot during the Eagles run to the Super Bowl in 2025. That being said, he was still a member of the team when Philadelphia hoisted up the Lombardi Trophy, which means he got himself a championship ring, and thus earned a trip to visit the president.
While Ricks was there today celebrating with his teammates, he seemed to get a little sidetracked. What do I mean by that? Well, around 4 o’clock in the afternoon while the festivities at the White House were still ongoing, Ricks sent this post out on X saying:
“Donald Trump’s daughter is beautiful, damn.”

Are we sure that Eli Ricks’ last name isn’t spelled “Risks,” because this man was ready to risk it all after he met – or was at the very least in the presence of – Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka. Eli didn’t mention her by name, but in his second post about the matter (which was sent out four minutes after his “beautiful damn” post), the young cornerback name dropped the woman he was suddenly smitten with:
“After seeing her in person, Ivanka is exactly my type.”
You’ve got to respect him for doubling down on his thoughts when he probably should have deleted the first post.
Unfortunately for Eli Ricks, Ivanka Trump is married to Jared Kushner, and has been for 15 years, so Eli’s odds of a relationship with Ivanka are slim to none. And I just have to ask… is this the most unhinged sports team visiting the White House moment we’ve ever seen? Openly hitting on the president’s daughter is WILD if you ask me, and it looks like social media agreed:
