Setting the record straight.
Last night, the first round of the NFL draft got underway, with many top prospects gathered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where the event was held at Lambeau Field for the first time ever. The Tennessee Titans drafted former Miami quarterback Cam Ward first overall, as expected. There were plenty of memorable moments, and rounds two and three will continue tonight.
But as exciting as it is to have a new group of guys coming into the NFL, it’s always fun to look back at some of the drafts from years past, which have provided some very memorable moments… I’m still partial to the bachelorette parties that had to share Broadway in Nashville with thousands of “football guys” and they were NOT happy about it.
And another more recent, viral moment that comes to mind occurred during the 2023 draft, when former Kentucky QB Will Levis, now a teammate of the aforementioned Cam Ward (much to his own dismay), spent the first round looking quite disappointed because his name was never called. The Titans drafted him at #33 in the second round.. so he was the first pick of the second round if that’s any sort of consolation? Of course, it’s been a rough 2 years for him, but that’s a different story…
At the time, ESPN, the “worldwide leader in sports,” gave Levis a 92% chance of being picked in the top 10 of the draft.
Levis and his family sat around in the green room all night, but it was ultimately his now ex-girlfriend, influencer Gia Duddy, who caught everyone’s attention. Many fans found it hard to sympathize with Levis after seeing who he got to go home with, regardless of where he got drafted.

She had a viral moment for her looks, but also because fans thought they could read her lips, catching her saying something about having to go to the bathroom, in addition to her other facial expressions throughout the night:
The two have since broken up, and Levis has clearly struggled in Tennessee (his team is obviously already drafting another quarterback only a couple years in the NFL), and his ex took some time to address her viral moments last night in honor of the big draft even this weekend. Gia explained that she tries not to talk about her draft experience too much because it “wasn’t about me,” though she did clear up some things from that night two years ago.
She warned other girlfriends who might be attending to be aware of their “RBF,” and clarified that she never asked about going to the bathroom… she was asking if it would be possible for the Titans to trade up if they wanted to take Levis higher up.
Obviously, in the long run, I think it only helped her influencing career, even if she and Levis didn’t work out:
“I know I know what tonight is, but do you guys know what tonight is? It’s the Caudalie event, obviously so let’s get ready. I’m just messing with you guys, I know it’s the NFL draft, you guys actually won’t let me forget. But I do actually have an event with Caudalie so I do need to get ready. I feel like I’ve never really talked about the draft, and I don’t really like talking about it, just because it just genuinely wasn’t about me.
So I just like never felt the need to speak on it, but I do wanna say is congratulations to all the hard-working men that are in this draft class. Genuinely so excited for all of you, I know I have some friends in it this year, and for those who are attending, beware of your resting b***h face. Because the media loves media, and they will start a story that you’re just a b***h. So from one RBF to another, good luck.
My friends and I were talking about it this week, though, the fact that was two years ago is literally insane. Because in my opinion, it feels like five years ago… also, while we’re talking about the draft, I need to debunk the ‘Can I pee?’ theory. I was literally just asking, ‘Can that happen?’ Because they were talking about the Titans trading up. I’m telling y’all, the media just loves some drama in the story.”
Honestly, Gia probably ended up with the better end of the deal, especially considering how unfortunately it’s turned out for Levis and the Titans… she’s still in Nashville too, working as an influencer and has been rumored to have had flings (or situationships, whatever the kids are calling it these days) with the likes of Morgan Wallen and Riley Green.
