PNC Park Goes Viral With Suggestive 7th Inning Stretch Message: “Pittsburgh Got Some Real Freaks”

PNC Park

Didn’t realize PNC had a game like this.

Baseball season is in full swing, which means that ball park goers are housing beers and hot dogs while cheering on their teams.

This season has already been off to an interesting start, culturally. I would speak on the game play if I were a baseball fan, but unfortunately, my knowledge there falls short, so I’ll spare you from reading a blog from someone who knows nothing about the sport and stick to the cultural moments that have stood out so far this season.,

So, back to the cultural moments: on opening day, MLB.TV crashed, leaving fans furious, the beloved POOP Game or POOP series (whichever you prefer) was resurrected from the dead, and now PETA is calling for the bullpen to be called the “arm barn.” Which honestly rolls off the tongue rather well…

Adding to the list of cultural moments comes from the Pittsburgh Pirates playing the New York Yankees at PNC Park earlier this season. Like many teams in baseball in the middle of the 7th inning, it’s tradition for PNC Park goers to sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game,” which is the perfect pick-me-up to get fans through the seventh inning stretch.

However, the graphics team had a different idea for one of the games: instead, they flashed a suggestive message across the jumbotron, which instantly grabbed fans’ attention.

“Can I 7th inning stretch you out?”

I see your game at PNC Park. Well played…

A fan from the grandstand snapped a picture of the moment and shared it on X, which quickly went viral, and for good reason. Given that half of the internet, including myself, has its head in the gutter, social media users’ minds wandered to the NSFW meaning behind this message.

Check out some of my favorite responses to this moment. PNC Park, keep this content coming. It’s hilarious.
