Kelsea Ballerini Falls HARD Singing “Friends In Low Places” To Honor Crew At Final Tour Stop

Ouch… that looked like it hurt, but she handled it like a pro.

Kelsea Ballerini just wrapped her North American tour this past weekend, with a final show at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario… but it didn’t go off completely without a hitch.

She took a nasty fall off a moving stage platform while performing Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” as a tribute and “thank you” to her crew that has worked so hard out on the road, and I’ve actually never seen an artist do something like that, which was really nice and a special way to show her gratitude.

But right as she was going into the chorus, Kelsea trued to walk forward, and it seems to me like she didn’t know that part of the stage was raised, because she completely wiped out and fell pretty hard… but her recovery was impressive. She didn’t miss a beat, and somehow managed to strike a perfect pose at the end of her fall that looked so natural it can only be attributed to her professionalism and years of performing.

She seemed to laugh it off and keep going like it never happened, but the fact that the next line when she hit the ground was “in low places” is almost too perfect. The video has now gone super viral, and you can watch it here:

Fortunately, I think the only thing that might’ve been hurt from it was her ego (I mean, no one hates to fall in public, especially onstage with thousands of fans, and cameras, watching), and fans seemed to agree in terms of how impressive it was for her to fall that hard and recover so flawlessly:

“I have so much respect for performers because I’d cut the show and leave the country and change my identity and they are always able to just roll with it.”

“The way the next line way ‘in low places’ killed me.”

“Idk about y’all but I’ve never seen anyone do this with their entire crew.”

“Honestly it’s so her to play it off the way she did with the sass.”

“She played off a mishap quicker than they had time to react, things happen on stage all the time and she was clearly OK. Love this ending to the tour.”

“The fact no body even flinched tells me she’s a little bit clumsy.”

“She really meant low places.”

“The photographer immediately taking pictures of her on the ground.”

“She literally said ‘and I’ll be okay’ what more do you guys want.”

“I don’t think ‘we’re gonna raise the center stage’ was on the pre-show checklist Glad she’s good!”

“Okay but how does someone manage to look so gorgeous falling? Like c’mon that was smooth.”

“How did she make that look cool.”

“And she sticks the landing!!!!”

“No but she did that flawlessly.”

“And she just kept going, good on her, ouch though.”

“I’m not a big fan of hers, but the professionalism is to be commended. I’d still be in the floor crying.”

Maybe it’s best to keep the stage totally flat, even for a big finale like that.
