Alan Jackson is nearing the end of the final tour of his legendary career, and he’s going out with a bang. With just two more shows on the schedule, one in Tampa Bay and one in Milwaukee, Alan is giving fans a night to remember with his Last Call: One More For The Road Tour.
Of course, George Strait is out here playing a handful of shows every year, and it’s been more than a decade since his “final tour,” so hopefully this won’t be the last year Alan steps on stage, but Alan does have a degenerative nerve issue that affects his balance and movement making it more difficult for him to perform.
Alan Jackson headlined Two Step Inn Festival, down in Georgetown, Texas, last night, and he did more than give fans a good time, he got the festival temporarily paused by security for raising a little too much hell.
During “Good Time,” Alan tells security to let the girls dance down by the stage, and you can see in the video that there was quite a lot of room in front of the stage and in the aisle down the middle. Naturally, security was NOT a fan of Alan encouraging fans to jump the barriers, and it didn’t take long for fans to fill the restricted area.
“Oh come on man, let the girl dance out here now. Come on! I’d love to see y’all down here… come on, they ain’t gonna mind it.”
Towards the end of the performance, Alan started tossing out t-shirts to the fans down by the stage.

Here’s a close up of fans jumping the barricades and partying down by the stage. Like I said, you can see how big of a gulf there was between the stage and the fans… LOT of room for a good time.

Not too long after “Good Time” the show was was temporarily paused so fans could be removed from the area and sent back over the barrier.
All in all, one helluva move from the country music living legend. If you get the chance to get to Tampa Bay or Milwaukee in the coming weeks, don’t pass it up… it may just be a once in a lifetime kind of show from the great Alan Jackson.
