Cutting back, eh?
Morgan Wallen sounds like he’s been working hard since his arrest last year for throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s bar, Chief’s on Broadway. While that might have been the chair throw heard around the world, Morgan shared on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast that he has not stepped foot into a bar since that night.
He also admitted that he’s taken up other hobbies and hasn’t liked going out in public as much since that instance.
“It’s still weird, and there’s parts of that that I don’t like. I mean, I think anyone who was to deal with that, it’s not ideal… you know, it’s not ideal to go everywhere, and even if you don’t get bothered, you were on edge the whole time because you thought you might. It’s like, there’s just things that you don’t do. You just don’t do them anymore.
But that’s okay, that’s why I’ve taken up hunting so much, I think. Because I can go be with my buddies, I’m in the middle of nowhere, I can be at ease, I can not stress out. You just finds way to supplement it.”
But it appears bar hopping is not the only thing Wallen’s cut back on: He’s also trying to scale back on his usage of Zyns. The nicotine pouches are not only a dip alternative but also a vape alternative, and they have taken over the nicotine space. Sometimes, it feels like everyone is Zyning, and your favorite celebrities are included in that group.
Morgan is one of those celebrities who uses the nicotine pouches, and fans often offer him Zyns while he’s on stage, or chuck their can at him, hoping he takes one from their stash.

However, from his interview with Theo Von, it sounds like Wallen is trying to wean himself off Zyns—well, kind of. Wallen admitted that he’s cut back from using 6 mg pouches and is now using 3 mg pouches.

“I just downgraded to the 3s, I’m weaning myself off.”
Von was surprised by hearing this and responded, asking him:
“Are you?”
To which Wallen added:
“I don’t know. But I just be putting two in.”

Maybe he should just go back to 6 milligrams and save himself some time and money by not having to double up.
