Looks like ole Timmy Ty Childers has himself a new job.
Yesterday at around 6:30pm someone slipped past the fence at the White House and sprinted out onto the North lawn. Fortunately, Secret Service was able to quickly apprehend the intruder and immediately bring him to a place where he’ll be able to think about what he’s done under the watchful eye of an authority figure.
Okay, it was a kid who somehow squeezed through the fence and made a mad dash for it. I’m very bad with estimating children’s ages (can you really tell the difference between 2 and 6 year olds?) but he appeared to be about 3, also given he was small enough to fit but fast enough to get away from his parents.
The Secret Service officer who initially grabbed the kid bared a striking resemblance to one of the greatest country artists of modern times, perhaps even of all-time…
Red hair, red beard, a silly little smirk on his face… that’s right, this guy could have been Tyler Childers had his life taken a much different path a few years back.
Obviously, no harm no foul. I’m sure the parents were absolutely mortified when, one, they realized their kid was missing, and two, when the saw him sprinting around one of the most heavily guarded areas on the face of the planet, and while it was pretty apparent this Tyler Childers lookalike doesn’t yet have kids of his own because he had no clue how to carry him (“I don’t know what to do with my hands!”), another officer who clearly has kids took him and got him where he needed to be.
The official statement from Anthony Guglielmi, Secret Service spokesperson, read:
“Just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers observed a child slip through the White House north fence. Officers quickly reunited the child with their parents without incident.”
History Of White House Intruders
It’s not the first time a person ever ran out onto the lawn of the White House, though there’s typically more sinister forces at play.
In 2014, two people made an attempt to break into the White House. The first actually got through the front door, which caused a whole number of problems… The officer guarding the door was one of the first women ever given the duty and, well, just being truthful it didn’t end well for her… Then director Julia Pierson was forced to step down after the incident.

Then just a few months later another man rushed the president’s home but this time the intruder was stopped well before gaining entry by “The Most Decorated Dog In US History”.
Hurricane sadly passed away earlier this year but became internationally famous when he leapt into action and slammed the intruder to the grass. Hurricane did sustain many horrible injuries during the melee and was forced to medically retire from service, but it was hit work that saved the day that fateful night. This incident, if you could even call it that, is really just a funny little blip on the radar that we’ll all soon forget. While, his parents probably won’t forget… If you see a family walking around DC with a child on a leash, just mind your business because that kid can really get into some stuff…
