I mean, why not?
Blake Shelton just kicked off his Friends & Heroes Tour this weekend with sold-out stops in Lexington, Kentucky, before rolling into Knoxville, Tennessee and Greensboro, North Carolina.
He of course ran through hits like “Honey Bee” and “Austin,” but one video from his show in Greensboro at the Greensboro Coliseum has gone viral, where a fan near the front row of the crowd took off their prosthetic leg and handed it to Shelton, with a pen inside so he could sign it.
Blake didn’t hesitate to grab the leg, carry it around onstage some almost like a prop, before walking over to a small table and dumping the pen out. He signed it, put the pen back, and then carried it around a little more while singing “Neon Light,” before handing it back to the person.
I’ve seen artists sign some pretty unique things, but this might just take the cake… but if you’re going to get something signed by your favorite artist, you might as well make it something you’re going to see often, or even use on a daily basis… so I feel like this was actually kind of a good idea, and it’s cool that Blake did that for them. Do you wash your prosthetic leg? Something tells me it won’t be getting a bath anytime soon.

People in the comments said it was one of the best parts of the show, and several amputees pointed out how cool it was of him, and the other artists on the bill, to sign it:
“Only Blake lol.”
“Awesome thanks guys I’m an amputee myself I bet that made their night.”
“This was literally one of the best parts of the concert!!”
“I’m an amputee too this would be awesome! Love Blake Shelton, have seen him twice in concert!”
“That was awesome.”
“Good man.”
“I was there for the concert, and Blake and all the other singers signed it. It just shows how special these guys are. What a great concert.”
Blake’s tour will continue through March, and he heads to New Jersey, Massachusetts and New York this weekend for a run of shows. He has Emily Ann Roberts opening for him, as well as some of his musical heroes like Deana Carter, Craig Morgan, Trace Adkins and others joining some of the concerts.
