The Bassmaster Elite Series is underway, with the second derb of the season kicking off at the legendary Florida fishery, Lake Okeechobee, today. And in honor of the new season getting started, 2021 Bassmaster Angler of the Year, Seth Feider, went and got himself a TikTok.
And it only took him one post to go mega viral.
A Minnesota native who grew up fishing for big bass on Lake Minnetonka, Seth won the Bassmaster Angler of the Year in 2021, a top 5 finish in 2019, and still fishes the Bassmaster Elite Series where he’s become a fan favorite. He’s one of the most beloved anglers in the Elite Series, and after seeing his TikTok debut, it’s not hard to see why. Meanwhile, Kentucky native and fellow Elite Series angler, Matt Robertson, is quite a character as well. Known for some fantastic weigh-in commentary, he’s basically the John Daly of bass fishing.
These two teamed up to harken back to one of the most methed up viral videos of all time, perfectly recreating this iconic piece of American culture.

Seth and Matt opted for Bassmaster tats instead of the signature Monster Energy ink (Matt’s is actually real), but just an uncanny resemblance from these two. It was solid GOLD. The video, which like I said earlier was his first on TikTok, has already garnered 3.6 million views.
