No regrets here.
Brianna Chickenfry is speaking out about how she feels about turning down the alleged high-dollar NDA that Zach Bryan offered her when they broke up last fall.
At the end of 2024, Zach Bryan posted to his Instagram story that he and his girlfriend of over a year, Brianna Chickenfry, had parted ways. This statement came after fans began to speculate that they had broken up and after ZB was spotted with an active profile on the celebrity dating app Raya.
“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her.
I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.
Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too. With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”
After Brianna noted that his announcement of their breakup blindsided her, she then went on the BFFs Podcast and disclosed all the dirty details of their relationship’s ending. The biggest bomb she dropped in this episode was that ZB allegedly offered her $12 million to sign an NDA.
And if all these allegations are true, and I’ll say, I’m not 100% convinced that they are, no wonder he was trying to keep her quiet. After their breakup, Brianna shared many details of their relationship, insinuating that ZB cheated on her numerous times and emotionally abused her throughout their time together.
However, given the high dollar amount associated with the NDA, everyone is still wondering if she regrets her decision to decline the offer. On February 25th, TMZ approached her outside of LAX, asking if she had any regrets about her decision.
“No, no, no, no, that’s like Devil’s money. I don’t want someone else’s money.”
The reporter then asked, even though the money would have come from someone she deems evil, that kind of money changes people’s lives.
“Yeah, I know. But that’s ok. I’ll make my own money. Twelve million is kind of excessive. What am I gonna do with that?”
Too much money, eh? That statement contradicts what she has previously said on the One Night With Steiny podcast, noting how much money she would have taken to sign an NDA.
“No, no rebuttal. Once I declined… well, it started low, and then they kept going higher. And then it hit $12 million. I think it was five [million] and I laughed in their face…. if they offered me, like, $100 million I would’ve. That’s crazy.”
She also noted that on the podcast episode, ZB and his team started at $5 million, which was not enough for “what he put her through,” so she began negotiating for a higher dollar amount. But in the end, she decided her freedom of speech to talk about her experience in the relationship was more valuable.
However, Brianna did joke that sometimes, when she gets up for work, she thinks that maybe she should’ve just taken the money…
“I just got more value since I have a bugger connection with my audience now. That’s cool. But sometimes I wish I took the $12 mil. I mean, not really, but sometimes when I wake up and I’m like, I don’t wanna go to work… I think about it, I’m working so much.
I’m working every single day now because I always have to do something, do the next thing, I’m like, ‘F***, I’m tired. Should’ve took the $12 mil.’”
As a major Barstool Sports personality and a recent cover model for Sports Illustrated, she has had many opportunities come her way after the breakup, so she’s not hurting financially. Then again, coworker Kirk Minhane, said everyone at Barstool hates her so not sure how long she’ll be there.
No matter what number would have made Brianna sign the NDA, there is no doubt that even on the low end of ZB’s alleged offers, that kind of money is what most folks dream of. Gotta say… can’t see how it was really that smart of a move, but hey, do you girl.
Can we all officially move on from this and let them both live their lives?
